The International Organisation for Standardisation 2022 survey results have just been published! Here’s our FIVE key takeaways:
ISO9001 continues to be the most popular standard for certification with nearly 1.3m certificates issued worldwide with the biggest concentration being in the manufacturing sector with China and Italy having the largest concentration of certificates.
ISO14001 growth remains strong with over half a million certificates issued worldwide, largest sector in terms of concentration is construction and China having the largest number of certificates.
ISO45001 growth continues with nearly 400,000 certificates worldwide, again construction leads the way in terms of sector with the most concentration of certificates and China has the highest concentration of certificates.
ISO27001 has just over 70,000 certificates worldwide with China in the lead but Japan and UK closely aligned in second place.
Growth in other standards such as ISO37001 and ISO50001 shows signs of promise with these standards becoming ever more popular.
