Carbon Literacy Training Through Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful
Education and awareness are key pillars of meaningful environmental change. That’s why we partnered with Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful to provide our team with accredited Carbon Literacy Training (certified by the Carbon Literacy Project), and we encourage clients to also avail of this training with Keep Northern Ireland Beautiful. This training empowers our staff to make informed decisions about sustainability, helping them understand the science behind climate change and how individual and collective actions contribute to carbon reduction.
As a result, sustainability is now woven into the day-to-day thinking of our people, creating a culture of responsibility and proactive engagement.#
Tracking and Managing Our Carbon Footprint
In line with our policy, we actively measure and monitor our carbon emissions. One of the most significant contributors to our carbon footprint is business travel. While travel is often essential to our work, we understand the need to manage it responsibly.
To address this, we have recently introduced a Sustainable Business Travel Policy, which outlines new measures to reduce travel emissions. This includes encouraging remote meetings where possible, using lower-emission transport options, and reviewing travel needs to ensure every journey is necessary and efficient.
